Just bought an m-audio KeyRig 49. KB Piano version 2.3.3, upon selecting \'Use Midi Keyboard As Input\' and then hitting \'Practice\' key I get the error message: \"Error Initializing Input Device: Midi Input\" Have tried everything.

Try selecting the device inside the \"Options->Output device setup\" menu.
Select the device, and press Test. Then press a note on the keyboard.

And what if it doesnt work? I have the same problem. My pc plays midi, it\'s ok with the conection since it recognizes the keyboard, i have installed the right drivers, but nothing, no music software is finding the keyboard. Thanks for ur help

If KB Piano doesn\'t list the your keyboard in the options menu, then the driver doesn\'t support the standard midi api (winMM), which is what KB Piano use to connect to external keyboards.
